Travelbliss is back and I got married!!
Travelbliss is back and I got married!! So, many of you may be wondering where did I disappear? Probably many of you have been caught up in your own struggles or achievements during these past years, that you wouldn’t have missed another travel blog 🙂
Well a lot has happened on my front during these past couple of years. To begin with, COVID -19 struck and everyone was affected by it.
During these tough times, the focus was obviously not on how to travel; but how to survive and stay afloat during the pandemic. I took a break from travel and stopped making any blogs on Travelbliss.
Not everything was gloomy, I started my courtship just a little before the lock-downs were imposed and started getting to know my fiance – Winston Paul and finally we took the plunge and made our vows in September 2020 right in the midst of the pandemic, with just our immediate family members to witness our nuptials 🙂
As both of us were unemployed during the lock down, it gave us an opportunity to settle down into our married lives and have an extended honeymoon for nearly 6 months, without actually traveling anywhere.
This time we spent in getting to know each other, prayer, updating my cooking skills, reading, playing scrabble, going for long drives, watching movies at home and spending quality time with family.
Here’s a sneak peek into my life during these past 2 years.
Our time together:
Scrabble & Chess Time:
Long walks and strolls:
Bike Rides:
Picnics and outings:
Birthdays, anniversaries and celebrations:
Work from Home:
I started working remotely for a couple of projects which I bagged on Upwork.
It was always my dream, after I quit my full time job, to work remotely, basically live a nomadic life :-). Now that I got married, this option suited perfectly, that way I could work from the comfort of my home, with flexible timings and at the same time, be able to continue doing what I liked doing.
